The Green & Smart Energy Organization (GSEO) is a global non-profit organization whose mission is
to accelerate carbon neutrality, promote clean and low-carbon transformation, and the smart
development of global energy.
The 2021 Carbon Peak and Neutrality Forum and the 9th Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum, hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government under the guidance of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, was successfully held from December 16th-17th, 2021. As an important part of the forum, the GSEO hosted two side-events: the “2021 International Clean Energy Development and Cooperation Forum,”and the“2021 International Hydrogen Energy Industry Development and Cooperation Seminar.”
The 2021 International Conference on Cooperation in the Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021 ICCHEI) was held in Chengdu on May 28. Representatives from more than 120 companies and organizations took part in the conference, including the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE), Hydrogen Europe Research, Brazilian Hydrogen Association, ENEOS, ITOCHU, Mitsubishi, Verbund VG, H2 Energy, HDF Energy, HyET Hydrogen, Adelan, Shenzhen Energy, State Power Investment, Shanghai Electric, and other leading domestic and international companies in the field of hydrogen energy. The summit built a bridge to incubate major projects in the Sichuan Province and inspire smart development within the internaional hydrogen energy industry.
The GSEO acts as the organizer of the CH2Now platform that aims to bring together key Chinese and international stakeholders to join forces in support of the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in China and facilitate the entry or expansion of foreign enterprises into the Chengdu-Sichuan and Shenzhen-GBA markets utilizing enlarged cooperation and partnership opportunities and the mobilization of preferential policies, financial capital, and other supporting instruments. The platform name combines the words "China" (CHN) "hydrogen" and "now," expressing the clear and urgent need to promote the growth of the hydrogen energy industry in China.
